Hi, I’m Rachel—mom of three energetic boys, homeschooler, road trip planner, and firm believer in coffee before any major task. I’m in the thick of raising kids and navigating the wild world of perimenopause— it’s true that hormones don’t care if you’re making lunches or teaching long division. Around here, I share a real-life mix of high-protein recipes, practical wellness, fitness that fits into mom life, and honest talk about the changes that come with being a woman in her 30s+. My Fitness Journey…
My journey with fitness and body recomposition didn’t begin in a straight line. After my second baby, I set out with goals that felt familiar to many moms: to “get back to the 120s,” to feel like me again, and to build the strength I needed to chase toddlers and carry the weight of motherhood—both literal and emotional. I started with what I knew: bodyweight workouts and extra cardio. And while I shrank back into a smaller size, I still didn’t feel like I had found the shape—or the strength—I was truly seeking…
After my third baby, fitness took a backseat again—as it often does in the early years of motherhood. But in 2021, I returned to it with fresh perspective. Armed with three pairs of dumbbells and a budget bench on my back porch, I started lifting. And slowly, I fell in love with it. The strength. The progress. The “me time.”
That love led me to explore the world of nutrition—specifically for body recomposition. I began macro tracking, started a calorie deficit, walked through my first reverse diet, and eventually stepped into a build phase to gain muscle. With every phase, I learned more, grew stronger, and became more passionate about helping other women do the same.
That passion eventually led me to become certified through Precision Nutrition. Now, I get to turn around and offer the knowledge, tools, and support I once needed—so other women can write their own stories of strength, freedom, and transformation.
