If you love Reese’s and you love protein, these Peanut Butter Cup Protein Pops are about to become your new freezer staple. Creamy peanut butter filling, chocolate on top, a little crunch from real peanuts — they taste like a treat, but they’ve got 22 grams of protein per bar. I make a batch, freeze them, and they’re gone in a few days… fair warning!

Peanut Butter Cup Protein Pops

22g protein per bar

About 2 hours (mostly freezer time)

5 ingredients

Makes 4 bars

Ingredients

40g Legion vanilla whey protein powder (about 1 1/3 scoops)

24g peanut butter powder (about 2 tbsp)

290g Oikos Pro vanilla Greek yogurt (about 1 1/4 cups)

20g sugar free milk chocolate chips (about 2 tbsp)

10g dry roasted peanuts (about 1 tbsp)

Chocolate Topping:

28g Lily’s milk chocolate chips (about 3 tbsp)

30ml sugar free chocolate syrup (2 tbsp)

Directions

  • Add peanuts to a plastic bag and slightly break up into small pieces using a rolling pin. Set aside.
  • Add protein powder and peanut butter powder to a bowl. Mix together. Add Greek yogurt and combine. Fold in chocolate chips.
  • Prep parchment paper on a freezer-friendly tray. Scoop out 1/4 cup of filling onto parchment paper (makes 4 bars). Press a popsicle stick into each, then cover with filling. Sprinkle peanut pieces on top.
  • Freeze for 1.5 hours.
  • Melt chocolate chips for the topping (30 seconds at a time — mine take 45-60 seconds total). Stir, then add chocolate syrup to thicken. Smear over each bar. Add any remaining peanut pieces on top.
  • Freeze for another 30 minutes.
  • No popsicle sticks? Place each in a freezer-friendly ramekin and follow the same directions.
