This air fryer banana yogurt bowl only takes five minutes and it looks way more impressive than the effort it takes. Air frying the banana caramelizes the natural sugars and turns it into something that feels indulgent, but the bowl comes in at 261 calories with 24 grams of protein. I make this when I want something that feels like a treat but still hits my macros.
Ingredients
1 medium banana (~100g)
1/8 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp monkfruit sweetener
170g Oikos Pro vanilla yogurt
2 tsp sugar-free syrup (or sub honey or maple syrup)
Directions
- Cut the banana in half lengthwise, leaving the skin on.
- Sprinkle cinnamon and monkfruit over both cut sides.
- Place cut sides up in the air fryer at 400 degrees for 5 minutes on the middle rack.
- While the banana cooks, spoon the yogurt into a bowl.
- When done, slide the banana out of the skin and place over the yogurt.
- Drizzle with sugar-free syrup and enjoy.
