This sugar cookie protein dip is my go-to for holiday parties and for those afternoons (or after-dinner moments) when someone in my house needs something sweet. It tastes like a frosted sugar cookie, comes together in about five minutes, and packs almost 19g of protein per serving with zero fat and zero added sugar.

The secret is almond extract. If you’re not already adding it to your sugar cookies, start now. I learned the trick from Sally’s Baking Addiction, and her sugar cookies are my absolute favorite. They’re also incredibly decadent. So one day I mixed up a protein dip, added a little almond extract, and it hit. That bakery sugar cookie flavor comes right through, and you’d never guess it’s mostly yogurt and whey.

My kids like to dip with sugar-free ice cream cones broken into pieces (the waffle pattern holds a lot of dip). Graham crackers and pretzels are also good choices if you want a little sweet and salty.

If you’re bringing this sugar cookie protein dip to a party, top it with a few sugar-free white chocolate chips or sprinkles to dress it up. It doubles (or triples or quadruples!) easily for a crowd, and it’s the dip everyone keeps coming back to (even people who have no idea it’s high protein).
